Hinami literally disappointed to me.
Even our ‘pregnant’ Touka injured Hajime but she just…. Hinami literally did nothing. I don’t want to think that Hinami isn’t strong to protect her onechan. I know it’s not her fault but…. What would happen if Hirako Squad ever doesn’t appear? I hope she shows her power in next chapters.Damn ISHIDA
Hinami isn’t capable of hurting Hajime not because she is weak, but becauses she uses her kagune as a shield to protect Touka from the imminent attack, and thank’s to this Touka taking advantage of the opening that Hinami grants her attacks him (although it isn’t effective at all because it seems to have the same capacity of regeneration than Kaneki).
Therefore, she is strong but Hajime’s kagune is heavier than hers, that is to say, it has more brute force. But strength isn’t only based on powerful attacks, as it was demonstrated in their fight with Mado, teamwork and strategy are equal or even more important that brute force, and in those aspects, I suspect that they would have won Hajime, probably being able to defeat him.
I would like to add that Hinami only used her Koukaku, which as far i know only defensive, she most likely just attempted to shield Touka and did not expect Hajime’s kagune to have that kind of force.
Personally I’d assume the situation was different if she used her Rinkaku as well.
Don’t get me wrong. I just wanted to say how Hinami disspointed me “only” during the fight because when I saw that panel where she can’t do anything, I was scared because his attacks continued and if Touka didn’t see and block his attack, She could be hurt severely. (That time Hinami’s head was blurred by Hajime’s attack and also that brat said that he did something to her Koukaku, so she couldn’t do anything at this point.) Oh my my. I’m not saying she’s weak. We can discuss till morning how strong and amazing she is. I can’t find any reason why she defeated to him but I think that’s supposed to be like this. (That was what Ishida’s planned, I guess) I love him. My purpose wasn’t to humiliate him. Also I love @mamasaiko too, she’s/he’s so precious.
Don’t worry I understood that even from the first post <3 The reason I reblogged it and added on to it is because I was disappointed as well in how Ishida utilized Hinami in that chapter. I also posted a text post myself saying I found it weird, because Hinami could do much better. That being said though, she did what she was supposed to do and that was protecting Touka. More than likely, she’ll continue to do it next chapters as well.
I think the reason Hinami was ‘defeated’ was that she will be forced to use her Rinkaku, her offensive soon, because her Koukaku is simply… not fit for fighting mostly. Since Hinami’s a pacifist and all, and really doesn’t like to fight. That’s my assumption alone though.
and both you and mamasaiko are lovely! It’s good this post was brought up anyway, I truly think it’s worth mentioning some characters could do more.

@mamasaiko Thank you!
Also Lol I was thinking the same about your gender but If I used only “she” and if you were a boy it would be weird a bitXD
